Review | Skin Chemists Rose Quartz Limp Plump

I was first introduced to Skin Chemists back in 2017 where I had the opportunity to try out and review the Advanced Snail Duo Moisturiser. I was so impressed with the moisturiser that I couldn’t say no to trying out other products in the Skin Chemists line. The moisturiser is formulated with real snail secretion, which is known for its rejuvenating and protecting abilities. It aims to soothe, purify and hydrate the skin, leaving it protected and nourished for the day ahead.

Today we are talking about lips and getting that plump Kylie Jenner look without using actual lip fillers. Fortunately, I have been blessed with quite full lips, however, it doesn’t hurt to add a little more plumpness if you want to – which I always do! Recently Skin Chemists introduced me to their Rose Quartz Lip Plump and I thought I would share my thoughts with you.

There are hundreds of lip glosses on the market, but how many of them actually contain the ingredients and benefits of a skincare regime? With the Skin Chemists Rose Quartz Lip Plump you can achieve an on-point pout with maximum plumpness. When first applying the lip plump, I noticed a minty scent to the formulation. Mint is a natural lip plumper, which is why it is incorporated in so many lip products. At first instance, I noticed a slightly tingling to my lips but didn’t really notice any instant change to the shape or size of them. After around 30 minutes, I noticed my lips were more fuller and plump, but not in an un-natural, jesus christ she has had too much filler way. It is more of a natural boost to your lips.

The key ingredient in the lip plump is Volulip, from the ‘Kiss Me Quick’ plant, and this aims to stimulate the production of Hyaluronic Acid, producing an active plumping effect. Circulation of blood to the surface of the lip is further enhanced by Peppermint Oil producing a fuller pout.

Like everything, I think this product will work differently on everyone but one thing I can assure is it makes a great lipgloss for anyone to enjoy.

Overall, I liked this product and how it enhanced my natural lips. It isn’t something I would necessarily use everyday but definitely on nights out or for special events. I love how bright and pretty the packaging looks too.

Thanks for reading.
