REVIEW |Birchbox August

Guess who’s back with a brand new beauty box review…

This August I signed up to Birchbox as it was one of the beauty boxes I was yet to try out. This month, Birchbox teamed up with 10 Etsy sellers to create a collection of bright and joyful box designs, each one resembling their individual passions and creativity and of course to surprise their customers. The box I received was designed by “The Fox in The Attic”.

Moving on to what exactly was in the box…

Dirty Little Secret Eye Shadow Crayon in “Gold Plated”. Eyeshadow for me is a must have item in my make-up bag, especially for those nights out! This creamy crayon can be applied directly or by using your fingertips for an effortless eye look. It can also work as a base for powder shadows too.!

ModelCo Baked Blush in “Moonshine”. Who doesn’t love to be baked? This baked blush is an instant complexion illuminator and really gets those cheek bones “POPPING”. Just swirl some one a brush and sweep across!

Dr. Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask. I have used this product before and honestly, it’s great! It does all the work for my skin and even more so, it does it all overnight! You just apply a thin layer of this treatment onto clean skin before you go to bed and let is absorb while you sleep. The antioxidants will rejuvenate tired skin and you’ll wake up to glowing and hydrated complexion.

Number 4 Sugar Spray. Every summer beachy waves are in, and with the help of this product it will leave your locks soft, shiny and with plenty of texture. I used this spray and then plaited my hair overnight, and when I took the plaits out the next morning I was left with beautiful beachy hair.

Lord & Berry Concealer Stick in “Beige”. I’m not a fan of any concealers unless they are in liquid form so I didn’t massively rate this one. It masks blemishes and disguises dark circles, and it is really lightweight. I prefer something with a bit more fuller coverage.

Have you used any of these products? What did you think?

Thanks for reading.

Danielle
