A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely people of Top Collar Box and was asked if I would like to receive some treat for my dogs to try out. Of course, I jumped at the chance and said yes – I love giving my dogs something new to try!
Top Collar Box are a small, Yorkshire based business who make dog treats. They have a quirky menu, that is dog-friendly but with a humanised twist. As a dog owner, I see my pets as part of the family, so its great to have a range of recipes that they can enjoy and not feel left out. The flavour we received was Fish & Chips!
The idea behind Top Collar Box is that it is a regular dog treat subscription service, which is great and convenient meaning that I never have to worry about running out of treats for my dogs. The treats are hand baked and delivered in packaging that is letterbox friendly. You can even have it personalised with your dogs photo on! You can choose to receive the treats fortnightly or monthly, plus there is no commitment so you can pause, cancel or change the frequency of your deliveries at any time you like!
The dogs could sniff the treats out as soon as the box arrived in the post. They were keen for me to open it up so they could give the little heart-shaped biscuits a try.
The biscuits are quite big, and normally I would have broken them in half as I don’t like to overload the dogs on treats, but as this was a special treat I let them have a whole one each. They really enjoyed the biscuits, they have a good crunch but they weren’t actually that hard for them to bite on.
I love to have a selection of treats for my dogs, just to give them a variety of flavours and textures. I also try to only buy treats that are made in the UK, where I can be sure of the source of the ingredients.
Personally, I love the idea and think its great receiving treats in the post, and the surprise of what flavour awaits you each time.
Why not give Top Collar box a try for your own dogs. I am sure that they will love them and I can’t wait for my next delivery for mine.
Thanks for reading.
