Recently, all I have seen online is people raving about The Ordinary and how they are the single best beauty brand that have been discovered this year. A low down of the brand, their parent company is Deciem and they are the brand making a huge impact in the skincare industry at the moment for producing affordable products, with proven ingredients that actually work.
But anyway…this blog post isn’t actually about skincare, it is about their Coverage Foundation. It comes in 21 different shades, divided into 9 different depths and each have a different tone option for warm, cool or neutral skin tones. I went for 2.1P Medium.
The foundation comes in a small, plastic 30ml bottle, which isn’t exactly luxurious but still very chic-looking and travel friendly. It has non-chemical SPF 15 and the best part is the price…£5.90!!! Too good to be true? Or to be any good at all? Think again.
I personally love a full coverage foundation and this particular one did not disappoint. The coverage is GREAT, although not absolutely full, but a very solid medium that covers and looks completely natural on the skin. It is not “cakey” at all and it lasts ALL DAY! Finally, a foundation I can wear that doesn’t disappear half way through the day! Seriously impressed.
All in all, I can’t fault this foundation at all and can happily say it has secured a firm place in my everyday make-up bag. You can pick yours up from Cult Beauty by clicking here.
