Happy 1st May!
Today’s blog post is all about what I have been absolutely LOVING in April! I haven’t done a favourites post before so thought it was about time I did one. Hope you enjoy reading it, and don’t forget to like and leave a comment and follow me 🙂
First things first, I am obsessed with The Greatest Showman soundtrack! I first watched this film back in March and have watched it a further 2 times since then and have loved it even more. And what makes a good film even better? A bloody fantastic soundtrack to enjoy all day, everyday!! I kid you not, I have had this soundtrack on at every available moment, in my car, while at work, doing house work…you name it! I particularly favour the tracks “The Greatest Show”, “A Million Dreams and “This Is Me”. Oh damn, I think I need to go and listen to this some more now.
On to some skincare, I am loving the Dr Botanicals Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask that I received in my April Cruelty Free Beauty Box . I have been using it twice a week after cleansing my face and it has really brightened up my skin. I can now say that after have never using an overnight mask before, I will be continuing this in my skincare routine.
For make-up, I am currently loving my new The Ordinary Coverage Foundation. It makes my skin look flawless and is super easy to apply due to The Ordinary’s “spread-ability” system. The finished look is natural, and the colour doesn’t settle in creases or appear “cakey” as the day goes on. It comes in 21 shades with undertone identifiers, I went for shade 2.1P Medium. I picked mine up from Cult Beauty.
Also in the make-up criteria, I picked up the e.l.f Cosmetics Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter from Superdrug a couple of weeks ago and it has found a secure place within my daily make up routine. Being a natural pale person (not that you would know with the amount of fake tan I use) I suffer with dark and vein-y under eyes. This little diamond of a product corrects any of those areas and moisturizes, soothes and tightens the skin around the delicate eye area. It is super easy to blend evenly and provides a smooth and natural finish. You can pick
And finally, a bit of loving for a blogger I have recently started following but cannot stop reading all of her posts, Brighton Girl Problems. She is an anonymous blogger who rights about beauty, lifestyle, fashion and everything else in between. My particular favourite posts of hers are the hilarious “Tinder Diaries”, trust me you need to read them!
That’s it for today’s favourites, thank you so much for reading and again, if you want to leave a comment or simply a like, that would be much appreciated 🙂
